There will be interesting papers presented at our upcoming journal clubs in December . Alexandra Linke will start on the 2nd December, followed by Vinh Luu on the 16th December.
Ms. Seifert will talk about the project B2 and "THSD7A-associated MN: from antibody binding sites to new disease models – a three year PhD journey" at our next lab meeting.
The Collaborative Research Centre (CRC) 1192 "Immune-Mediated Glomerular Diseases" of the University Hospital Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE) will be funded for another four years.
We are happy to announce another exciting guest lecture. Ms. Prof. Renata Pasqualini from New Jersey will give a talk a about ''Ligand-directed Targeting & Molecular Imaging in Cancer and Obesity’’.
At the upcoming lab meeting of the CRC 1192 Mr. Zhao will talk about the project C3 as well as about ''High-dimensional single cell profiling in immune-mediated glomerular diseases''.
We will have two journal clubs in November. Lennart Robben will start and present latest publications on the 4th November, followed by Jennie von der Heide later at the 18th November.
At our next lab meeting of the CRC, Mr. Prof. Koch-Nolte and Ms. Dr. Wanner will talk about the project B5 as well as "Nanobody-based treatment strategies in glomerulonephritis".
We are happy to have Mr. Dietmar Zaiss from the University of Edingburgh with us, who is going to talk about: ’’Crosstalk between the EGFR and TGFbeta as a regulator of local inflammation’’.
Mr. Asada will talk about project A1 (Panzer) about: "Translational regulation in poised Th17 cells via stress granules" in the upcoming lab meeting of the CRC 1192.

This year's Franz Volhard Prize of the German Society for Nephrology (DGfN) will be awarded to Prof. Dr. Catherine Meyer-Schwesinger.
